Position Description

Technician Level 2 for water, mold, bio (including trauma) mitigation categories monitors, performs and inspects remediation tasks. Technicians execute tasks and prepares documentation (notes and photos) according to company and insurance policies procedures and compliance.  


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Retrieves work orders/assignments, checks route for travel, ensures appropriate equipment and supplies needed for a job are loaded on the truck needed for the job, and arrives at the work site
  • Performs water/mold/bio (trauma) remediation in assigned zones as directed according to company procedures including but not limited to extraction, debris removal/disposition, demolition, and cleaning
  • Ensures equipment, supplies, vehicles, and products are properly handled. Reports any equipment malfunction and or damage to the project manager
  • Performs daily monitoring, moisture mapping, and tasks on assigned water jobs on residential and/or commercial projects
  • Inspects jobs after completion
  • Prepares documentation, moisture points, atmospherics, and pictures according to company policies and procedures
  • Creates sketches using the application as required
  • Resolves customer or project issues as they arise or reports to the project manager
  • Conducts work assignments in a quality manner
  • Responsible for personal safety and PPE usage

Skill Requirements

  • Some experience in the restoration industry
  • Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience utilizing mobile software and data entry
  • Able to work independently or work with/lead a team
  • Able to follow procedure instructions and direction
  • Able to prioritize tasks to achieve schedule requirements

  • Move up to 70 pounds often, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods of time. Lifting, squatting, crawling, and crouching is required.
  • For safety reasons, use of appropriate PPE to avoid situational hazards must be used for example respirators, gloves, etc.
