Job Title: Restoration Project Manager & Estimator – Reconstruction

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Restoration Project Manager & Estimator to oversee reconstruction projects from initial assessment to final completion. This dual-role professional will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates, managing project timelines and budgets, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring high-quality restoration work. Ideal candidates will have experience in property restoration, insurance claims, construction estimating, and project management.

Key Responsibilities: Estimating:
  • Conduct thorough site inspections to assess damage (water, fire, storm, mold, etc.).
  • Prepare detailed, accurate, and timely estimates using software such as Xactimate or Symbility.
  • Work with insurance adjusters and property owners to review scope and secure approvals.
  • Provide clear and concise scopes of work, cost breakdowns, and change orders.
Project Management:
  • Coordinate and supervise all phases of reconstruction projects, from planning to completion.
  • Manage labor, subcontractors, materials, and equipment to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and adjust as needed based on job site conditions.
  • Conduct regular job site inspections to ensure safety, quality control, and customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate consistently with clients, adjusters, vendors, and internal teams.
Documentation & Compliance:
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and daily reports.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards, building codes, and local regulations.
  • Track project costs, timelines, and profitability.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in restoration, reconstruction, or general contracting.
  • Proficiency in Xactimate, Microsoft Office, and project management tools.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT) are a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and navigate job sites.
  • Willingness to work in environments affected by water, fire, or mold damage.
