Job Summary: The Project Manager / Estimator is responsible for the full management of restoration projects, including the creation of estimates using Xactimate, project planning, oversight, and execution. This role requires a deep understanding of construction and restoration processes, and the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with all project stakeholders including clients, insurance adjusters, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Major Responsibilities:

Estimation and Bidding: Utilize Xactimate to create detailed and accurate estimates for restoration projects. Prepare and submit bids based on assessments and projections.

Project Scheduling: Develop project timelines, schedule tasks and ensure milestones are met.

Resource Management: Oversee the selection and procurement of materials, manage manpower resources, and coordinate the use of equipment.

Site Management: Provide direct management of project sites, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.

Budget Management: Maintain control over project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met without compromising on quality.

Client and Stakeholder Communication: Maintain excellent communication with all parties involved, from clients to subcontractors, ensuring transparency and effective problem resolution.

Documentation: Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or Estimator in the restoration or construction industry.
- Proficient with Xactimate software for estimating purposes.
- Strong knowledge of construction procedures, restoration techniques, and project management principles.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to represent the company professionally.
- Computer software proficiency including MS Office, Outlook, and project management tools.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid driverโs license and ability to pass a criminal background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- IICRC certifications in Fire, Water, and Mold restoration.
- HAAG Certification for roofing.
- OSHA safety training and certification.
