We're hiring a Lead Water Mitigation Technician to oversee and execute restoration projects in residential and commercial properties affected by water damage. This is a key leadership role for a hands-on technician with strong field experience, who's confident directing crews, communicating with customers, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to industry standards. Lead water mitigation crews in performing water extraction, structural drying, and dehumidification
Supervise demolition and mold remediation efforts, ensuring safety and compliance with IICRC and company protocols
Conduct job site inspections and manage equipment setup for optimal drying performance
Mentor and train junior technicians, ensuring consistency, quality, and safety across all job sites
Document all aspects of the job, including moisture readings, photos, notes, and equipment logs
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing updates and setting expectations throughout the restoration process
Coordinate with project managers, adjusters, and subcontractors to keep projects on track
3+ years of hands-on water mitigation experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role
IICRC WRT certification required (ASD, AMRT, or other advanced certs preferred)
Strong understanding of moisture mapping, drying strategy, and job site management
Ability to lift 75 lbs and work in confined spaces (attics, crawlspaces, basements)
Proficiency in using moisture meters, thermal imaging cameras, and mobile job documentation platforms
Excellent communication, team leadership, and customer service skills
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
