The Opportunity:
Our Calgary-based client is on the lookout for a skilled Restoration Technician to join their dynamic team. As a 24/7 emergency services provider, we seek someone who is flexible and ready to make a difference.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute vital mitigation and remediation tasks, including water extraction, cleaning, and demolition, with precision and efficiency.
- Safeguard and relocate clients' belongings for cleaning and restoration, ensuring they are returned safely.
- Monitor and adjust the drying process to ensure optimal results.
- Engage in daily physical activities, including heavy lifting, bending, and reaching.
- Uphold our Health and Safety Policies and Procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Operate company vehicles to transport waste and materials as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience in the restoration field is essential; IICRC WRT Certification is a plus!
- A valid Class 5 Driver’s License, with a clean driver's abstract is required.
- Proficiency with common hand and power tools.
- Strong multitasking abilities and a knack for effective problem-solving.
- Excellent customer service skills coupled with a positive, can-do attitude
- Experienced in running a crew with direct reports
- Possess strong communication skills for effective communication across departments
