Position Overview

As an Apprentice / Junior Technician, you’ve completed (or bypassed) our probationary stage, or you bring 6–12 months of related experience (construction, cleaning, etc.). You’ll assist in equipment setup, documentation, and customer interactions as you expand your restoration knowledge, possibly pursuing key IICRC certifications (e.g., WRT, FSRT).

Key Responsibilities

  • Help senior techs handle water extractions, fire damage clean-up, and mold remediation tasks.
  • Set up/monitor drying equipment, take moisture readings, and maintain basic documentation.
  • Support new hires on simpler tasks, though no formal supervisory authority yet.
  • Uphold safety protocols at job sites, including proper PPE usage.
Requirements

  • Basic Experience: 6–12 months in labor/construction/cleaning (preferred).
  • Physical Capacity: Lift 50+ lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, handle PPE.
  • Pay Range: $18–$20/hr, aligning with an entry-level plus minimal experience bracket.
  • Certification Interest: Willingness to pursue WRT, FSRT, or other relevant IICRC certs.
Pay & Benefits

  • Hourly Rate: $18–$20/hr, depending on background/experience.
  • Training Path: Opportunities to advance into a full Restoration Technician role (typically $20–$24/hr) once you gain certifications.
  • Company-Sponsored Certs: We may cover the cost of essential IICRC trainings, subject to our cost-recovery policy.
  • Other: PTO, sick leave, and a supportive team environment.
