911 Restoration is seeking a motivated Restoration Technician to join our Northwest Arkansas team. This role involves responding to emergency property damage situations including water, fire, mold, and sewage mitigation. The technician will perform inspections, mitigation services, customer service, and assist with job documentation using restoration software.
We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to respond to emergency calls when needed.
Key ResponsibilitiesEmergency Response
- Respond to emergency mitigation calls from the call center
- Be available for on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
- Arrive quickly and professionally to loss sites
Mitigation & Restoration Work
- Perform water, fire, and mold mitigation services
- Perform demo and removal of damaged materials
- Set up drying equipment and monitor drying progress
- Use moisture meters and thermal tools to track moisture levels
- Document drying progress and job status
Inspections & Documentation
- Perform property inspections for damage
- Take photos, readings, and notes
- Document jobs using Encircle software
- Provide clear reports for insurance and office staff
Customer Service & Sales
- Provide excellent customer service to homeowners and businesses
- Explain restoration process and scope of work
- Identify additional restoration needs
- Assist in converting inspections into restoration jobs
Equipment & Vehicle Management
- Maintain company equipment and vehicles
- Ensure tools and drying equipment are clean and functional
- Follow company safety standards
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Experience in mitigation/restoration preferred
- Experience with:
- Demolition work
- Moisture meters
- Encircle software (or similar restoration software)
- Ability to perform damage inspections
- Ability to handle emergency calls and on-call schedule
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to sell or secure restoration jobs from inspections
- Must be reliable and able to work in emergency situations
Preferred Qualifications
- IICRC Certification (WRT preferred)
- Experience with water damage restoration
- Experience working with insurance claims
- Restoration industry background
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
- Ability to work in crawl spaces, attics, and damaged structures
- Ability to work long hours during emergency situations
