About the Position

Integrated Restoration is looking for an experienced Reconstruction Estimator to inspect property losses, write accurate scopes and estimates, secure approvals, and deliver a complete, financially sound handoff to the assigned Project Manager.

This role balances field inspections, Xactimate writing, carrier communication, supplements, customer updates, and firm deadlines. The Estimator owns the estimating process through approval, but does not manage day-to-day production. Missing information, capacity concerns, and stalled approvals must be raised early.

What You Will Do

Inspect residential and commercial losses and capture complete photos, measurements, sketches, field notes, and supporting documentation.

Write clear scopes and accurate Xactimate estimates with appropriate line items, quantities, pricing, notes, and an initial project budget.

Obtain subcontractor, vendor, or specialty-trade proposals when outside pricing is required.

Submit estimates and supporting documents on time and respond promptly to carrier, adjuster, and TPA review comments or revision requests.

Prepare and negotiate supplements using photos, measurements, codes, manufacturer requirements, proposals, and other evidence.

Keep the current status, obstacle, next action, responsible owner, and due date updated in DASH, XactAnalysis, and other required systems.

Give customers regular updates, set realistic timelines, and raise inspection-capacity concerns before service is affected.

Notify the Reconstruction Manager when approval is likely and hand off the approved scope, estimate, budget, carrier communications, supplements, commitments, and open issues.

Keep estimates, supplements, and change documentation invoice-ready. A separate pending supplement should not delay billing for approved completed work.

What We Are Looking For

At least two years of insurance-restoration or reconstruction estimating experience.

Strong hands-on Xactimate experience with scopes, sketches, revisions, and supplements.

Working knowledge of reconstruction methods, materials, job costing, and claim documentation.

Clear communication with customers, adjusters, carriers, subcontractors, and project teams.

The ability to defend and negotiate estimates using complete supporting evidence.

Strong organization, accuracy, time management, and follow-through across competing deadlines.

A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and ability to travel regularly to job sites.

Helpful Experience

Experience with DASH, XactAnalysis, DocuSketch, Symbility, TPA programs, or similar restoration systems is helpful. IICRC, construction, or estimating credentials and related education are preferred, but strong practical experience will be considered.

What Success Looks Like

Inspections, estimates, revisions, and supplements meet company and program deadlines.

Scopes and estimates are accurate, supported, financially workable, and ready without avoidable rework.

Every open estimate has a current status, obstacle, next action, owner, and completion date.

Customers receive proactive updates, realistic timelines, and clear next steps.

Likely approvals are surfaced early, approved jobs are handed off promptly, the Project Manager and customer connect within three calendar days, and pending supplements do not delay eligible billing.

Benefits

Benefits available to eligible employees include medical insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) with company match. Plan eligibility and waiting periods apply. Integrated Restoration is an equal opportunity employer.
Compensation: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
