SERVPRO of Springfield / Mt. Vernon is seeking a detail-oriented and driven In-House Estimator to support our mitigation and reconstruction teams. This role is ideal for someone with estimating experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple jobs while maintaining accuracy and strong communication.

Position Overview:

The In-House Estimator will be responsible for creating accurate estimates, supporting Project Managers, and ensuring all job files are properly documented and moving forward. This position works closely with customers, adjusters, and internal teams to keep projects on track from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage estimates using Xactimate and/or Symbility

  • Review job documentation, photos, and scope details to build accurate estimates

  • Assist with supplements and revisions as needed

  • Coordinate with Project Managers and Production teams

  • Communicate with customers and insurance adjusters regarding scope and pricing

  • Track estimate completion and ensure deadlines are met

  • Maintain organized and complete job files

  • Assist with scheduling inspections when needed

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Xactimate and/or Symbility required

  • Prior experience in restoration, construction, or estimating

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Basic understanding of insurance claims process preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in water, fire, or mold restoration

  • IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, etc.)

  • Experience with job management systems (Dash, RMS, Encircle)
