    Job Summary

    The primary role of the Franchise Development Specialist is to support the sales objective for the division to include both new sales and resales. The Specialist has the responsibility of supporting the sales cycle from beginning of the relationship with both buyers and sellers trhough the finalization of franchise acquisition and continues as a liaison with the Integration Team to support the success of the franchisee. The Specialist works with internal and external team members and executive management to develop effective sales and integration strategies to pursue all opportunities as it relates to potential franchise business owners (new and resale) and assist with monitoring of effective Market Development strategies to identify prospective franchisees.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support Franchise Development Managers in new sale and resale objectives within assigned geographic territories, as communicated quarterly and annually per the approved Franchise Development Strategic Plan.
  • Liaise with Operations Manager, Franchise Development Managers, and Consulting Team to support the market development plans by region consistent with organizational business objectives.
  • Support the Integration Manager, Integration Specialists, and Consulting Team to align acquisitions with business objectives and engage with Operations Team to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Build rapport and trust with potential franchisees, understanding their concerns while providing maximum support and business solutions.
  • Support the appropriate follow-up with candidates including reviewing applications, financials, and conducting interviews.
  • Support the qualification of all franchise candidates and presentation of prospective franchisees for executive committee review.
  • Ensure all required paperwork for a franchise sale is completed correctly and properly.
  • Ensure all legal compliance issues are followed at all times.
  • Support the Management of Regional Demographics and Territory/License Availability.
  • Support the proactive pursuit of franchise candidates and assess to identify and prioritize qualified prospects.
  • Support the divisional commitment to customer service and thorough file documentation and management.
  • Create and maintain timely and accurate Franchise Development communications and status changes in the Servpro CRM program.
  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the Franchise/customer experience.

Required Qualification (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably in supporting sales objectives, including new sales and resales.
  • Ability to support the sales cycle from initial contact to finalization of franchise acquisition.
  • Ability to support sales managers in building and maintaining relationships with both buyers and sellers.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to deliver results in diverse, quick-changing environments.
  • Exceptional skills in problem solving, efficiency, and project management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people at all levels.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.

Education

  • Bachelor�s degree in Business preferred or equivalent working experience.
