Key Responsibilities

Department Leadership & Operations

Oversee all daily contents operations, including pack-outs, climate-controlled storage, inventorying, hard contents cleaning, textile processing, soft goods restoration, and pack-backs.

Direct, mentor, and accountability-manage job site supervisors, crew chiefs, and technicians.

Maintain high standards of quality control, job site safety, and customer satisfaction across all contents projects.

Oversee vault management, warehouse layout, inventory tracking systems (e.g., Xactimate, iCAT, or similar), and facility maintenance.

Expansion & Regional Growth

Spearhead the operational setup, staffing, and workflow integration for the new Contents Department extension in the Scranton area.

Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) to seamlessly integrate Scranton operations with the primary Allentown facility.

Optimize regional logistics and routing between Upper Bucks County, Lehigh Valley, and Scranton footprint.

Financial & Strategic Management

Manage Department Profit & Loss (P&L), controlling labor, material, and operational expenses to maximize profitability.

Partner with ownership/executive leadership to design and execute annual department growth goals and KPIs.

Assist estimating teams with scope verification, job costing, and ensuring accurate insurance billing for contents claims.

Candidate Qualifications

Required:

Industry Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of management/leadership experience in the Disaster Restoration Industry (General Manager, Operations Manager, Contents Manager, or similar supervisory role).

Leadership & Team Building: Proven track record of managing crews, holding staff accountable, and fostering a positive work culture.

Geographic Coverage: Ability to cover operations across Upper Bucks County, Lehigh Valley, and the Scranton/surrounding areas.

Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Preferred (Ideal Candidate):

Direct, hands-on experience managing a Restoration Contents Division (pack-outs, soft goods/textiles, ultrasonic cleaning, inventory software).

IICRC Certifications (e.g., CCT, FSRT, WRT).

Experience with contents inventory management software (iCAT, Encircle, or similar) and Xactimate scope familiarity.

Prior experience expanding or opening a new branch/facility location.
