Job Summary

The Carpet Cleaner is responsible for the proper cleaning of carpet and upholstery in public areas, hotels, and timeshare units. Ability to work in all weather conditions (indoor and outdoor).  We will train the right candidate. Respond to resort guest calls as well as in-house work orders in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner. Ensure that machines are safeguarded from weather conditions daily.  Must be able to function in a fast pace, high-stress environment. Check all machine fluids to ensure the proper functioning and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety to prevent accidental hazards.

Valid driver`s license with approved DMV record

Must be 18 or older

Preferred

Experience in carpet cleaning

High school diploma or equivalent

Basic knowledge of the resort and its operations

Basic reading and writing skills

Previous experience in commercial/residential carpet cleaning

Typical Schedule

Days:

Varies, 5 days a week, including weekends and holidays

Hours:

Day shift, 8am-4:30pm (additional hours as needed)

Core Responsibilities

• Responsible for the cleanliness of all carpet and upholstery in assigned work areas
• Complete work within time restraints
• Assist in emergency situations (ex. flood restoration, guest complaints, etc.)
• Complete area spot checks of carpet and upholstery when assigned
• Complete daily paperwork
• Make sure that carpet vacuum filters are cleaned daily
• Properly record carpet conditions in assigned work areas
• Observe safety precautions at all times and report any issues to upper management
• Other duties as assigned by management
